My stay at Casa Finlandia was quite disappointing. While the location was convenient for my needs, everything else fell short. The room was cramped, the bed was uncomfortable, and I hardly had any amenities. I expected a boutique experience, but it didn’t deliver the quality I anticipated.

Rooms

The Double Room was very small and not well-designed. The bed was uncomfortable, and storage options were limited with a poorly placed closet. Additionally, the lack of attention to cleanliness details was noticeable. I didn’t sleep well here, which was a major letdown.
Service
5.0
The service was lacking, especially since there was no bottled water in the room, which would have been a nice touch. I expected more attention to detail in a boutique hotel.

The hotel's location was a highlight, just a six-minute walk from where I needed to be. It was situated in a decent residential area of Guadalajara, which made getting around easy.

Facilities were minimal and didn’t feel boutique at all. The locks on the doors were problematic and didn't instill confidence in safety, especially during my business trip.

My stay at Casa Finlandia Boutique Hotel was refreshing due to its charming decor and warm atmosphere, but I had some disappointments with the room's condition and overall amenities. While the location was convenient for my business needs, the room's size and cleanliness did not meet my expectations.

Rooms
5.0
I booked a Double Room, and honestly, the size felt cramped. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, and the bathroom didn't seem as clean upon closer inspection. It was also annoying that the window wouldn't close properly, and I could hear all the noise from outside. I definitely wanted a better experience in terms of comfort for my one-night stay.
Service
5.0
The service seemed a bit lacking, especially when I noticed staff preparing coffee in the kitchen but not offering any. They were quite loud too, which made it hard to focus on my work calls. I wished for a more considerate atmosphere.
Location

The location was pretty solid—just a short 6-minute walk from where I needed to be, which helped a lot during my business trip. It’s set in a peaceful residential area, making it feel a bit more intimate.
Dining
6.0
While I didn’t get to enjoy any food myself, I could see they offer fresh cream cakes in the hotel. It looked tempting, but again, my focus was on work, so I skipped out on those.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities felt a bit underwhelming. The kitchen was available, but the overall vibes just didn’t match up with what I hoped for at a boutique hotel.

My stay at Casa Finlandia was a mix of highs and lows. I loved the beautiful decor and the cozy feel of the hotel, which is located in a lovely part of Guadalajara. However, I faced significant frustrations with the room's door locks and some noisy kitchen staff during my work calls that impacted my experience.

The Deluxe Queen Room I stayed in had gorgeous decor and was well-equipped. However, the door locks were quite problematic; they required a lot of force to open, which was stressful for securing my belongings during my business trip.
